Well known for its good food and Scottish hospitality, this privately-owned B&B is situated in Ayr, on the west coast of Scotland, in the heart of Robert Burn's country.

Boasting excellent transport links, Failte Bed and Breakfast is located on the A79, a 5 minute drive away from Prestwick International Airport. Furthermore, Newton-on-Ayr Railway Station is only a 2 minute walk from Failte (Newton-on-Ayr- Railway Station is a also a link Station for Prestwick Airport).

Ayr town centre is a 15 minute walk away from the B&B; here you can enjoy plenty of restaurants, pubs and shops. In addition to this, Ayr Race Course and Northfield Bowling Complex are both within easy walking distance. British Open Golf Courses can also be visited nearby.

Ayrshire is world famous for its golf courses and it boasts 3 Open Championship courses: The Ailsa at Turnberry; Prestwick; and Royal Troon. It was recently announced that The Open Championship will return to Ayrshire at Turnberry in 2009.

In addition there are a host of quality links courses such as Kilmarnock Barassie, Glasgow Gailes, Western Gailes, The Dundonald, Irvine Bogside, West Kilbride, the Turnberry Kintyre and Prestwick St Nicholas.
